Long Rural Drives
Where the gate is a long way from the house, the power run, the intercom and the ground conditions all need designing rather than assuming.

Electric Gates in Wraxall
Wraxall and the lanes around Nailsea take in country houses, converted farm buildings and a number of gated properties already.
Entrances are typically off a lane with a long approach, which suits automation well. Where an existing gate is already hung on stone or brick piers, the question is usually whether the piers can carry the extra load — and that is a survey job, not a guess.
Wraxall is around forty minutes from our unit. Send us a couple of photographs and rough measurements of your entrance and we will come back with a realistic figure before anyone books a visit.
01
Electric Gate Installation in Wraxall
Our own engineers install automatic gates in Wraxall — no subcontractors, and the same team from survey through to handover. The Essential range starts at £6,995 fully installed, including VAT; Premium starts at £10,200 including VAT for bespoke shapes, finishes and access control.
Every installation is force tested, fitted with photocells and safety edges, and handed over with a pack covering safe operation, power isolation and the manual release. You can price an aluminium entrance yourself with our gate builder before speaking to anyone.
Tree-Lined Approaches
Overhanging trees mean leaves in the track and sap on the ironmongery. It is the commonest cause of a call-out on a drive like this, and an annual visit prevents it.
Pedestrian Gates
A matching side gate keeps people out of the vehicle opening, which is better for safety and saves cycling the main gates a dozen times a day.
Electric Sliding Gates
The answer where the drive slopes, where the opening is wide, or where you cannot give up the space behind the gate line. The motor sits in the post and the leaf runs along the boundary.
02
Driveway Gate Installation in Wraxall
Driveway gates in Wraxall need a safe stopping distance from the road, so a gate that opens outwards over a pavement is rarely the answer.
03
Electric Gate Servicing and Fault Finding in Wraxall
Country installations often have long cable runs and older control boards. Servicing covers the electrics as well as the mechanics.

We take on gate automation in Wraxall where the gates and hinges are sound enough to carry the motors.
We fit garage doors in Wraxall to match a new set of gates, or on their own if that is all you need.
We quote gate repairs in Wraxall before starting, not after.
Intercom & Video Entry
See and speak to whoever is at the gate and let them in without leaving the house. Radio, GSM and video systems, wired or app-based.
Keypad & Remote Entry
Coded keypad entry for family and trades, plus programmed handsets. Every automated gate we install comes with remotes as standard.
Annual Servicing
One visit a year keeps the moving parts right and the safety devices working, and it is when we catch the fault before it becomes a call-out.

Once a year for a normal domestic entrance in Wraxall. The annual visit is £234 per gate system, including VAT and covers the motors, control panel, photocells and safety edge, and we re-measure the closing forces before we leave.
Frequently we can. The gates need to be square, on hinges that are not worn out, with a supply at the entrance. Where that is true, retrofitting automation in Wraxall takes about a day once the power is in.
